Oh these two.

Seriously.

They’re a fantastic couple and they compliment each other so well. They’re fun to be around, they both have big hearts and even bigger smiles. You can’t help but laugh when you’re around them… and shake your head. That’s precisely what Marc told me that he does every day. It’s exciting when you see love in action and these two are no exception. They’re getting married on June 5 this year, and I wish them a lifetime of happiness.

It’s a beautiful world with a little more love in it.

Yet another shot from Marc and Kayla’s engagement shoot. I’ve been so excited about this set, because they just keep getting better and better! I’ll be sad when I’m done editing, and I think Kayla will be too… but as I reminded her, we still have bridals… and the wedding!!!

This weekend, we had Marc and Kayla’s engagement shoot in downtown Grapevine. Kayla and I go way back to our days at TTU, and she and Marc go back to… well, last summer! It was love at first sight. A few months later, they were engaged at Rockefeller Center in NYC at the ice rink! How cool is that?! I’ll admit, I’m pretty jealous.

They will be married this summer, and I don’t think it can get here fast enough for them.

I love this picture – there’s so much positive energy and happiness. These two complement each other so well, it’s astounding.

I have so many more pictures to go through… but this is what I’ve got today… and I LOVE it!

Meet my beautiful Valentine’s Day flowers.

I love them so much, I want to carry them from one room in the house to another. I turn red every time I look at them… and I’m blown away that someone surprised me with them today when I least expected them. White roses, pink carnations. Totally fits my personality. (How did you know?)

Look at Bestie and her sweet baby boy. We celebrated his 3 month anniversary with some pictures. He was actually really good, all things considered… and I think we got some good shots. I really love this one, because it shows such a tender side of Bestie that most people never see. She’s such a wonderful mother.

How strange to be excited about a trip to Lubbock…

I have finally finished up Jennifer and Chris’ pictures. This was the last shot of the afternoon… The wind was getting up, it was chilly, and we were trying to get the moment without getting run over. I actually love this shot though, I’m not sure why. It just seems like the world stops when they look at each other.

I don’t know. I’ve said it before – I’m becoming a sap!

I’m NOT feeling like a sap today… probably because I’m in insurance company hell… so I’m glad I’m to some the more funky pictures we took on Sunday. Here’s Jennifer and Chris, again. We headed down to Deep Ellum for some fun shots, but it had gotten cold and windy… so these guys were troopers. Jennifer was clearly in her element with all the funky colours and walls around Deep Ellum with a little bit of coercion and some former Drill Team expressions, we got Chris to have some fun, too!

I loved the side of this building and the myriad of colours on it, but what I really LOVE is Jennifer’s expression… and of course, Chris’ continued sweetness to her.

Oh, there I go, being a sap. I’ve got to work on this.

Okay, so I said I wouldn’t post Jennifer + Chris until I got through all the pictures, but I can’t help myself.

I LOVE this picture! Actually, I love several of them… but I love Chris’ expression when he looks at Jennifer. It’s almost like she’s the only thing in the room – and I suppose for him, she might be. He just looks at her with such love and tenderness – it’s beautiful. It reminds me of the Boys Like Girls and Taylor Swift song…

Sometimes just holding hands is holding on to everything.

Today, I did Jennifer and Chris’ engagement shoot. We had planned to visit the Arboretum before heading downtown, but after scoping out the replanting going on at the Arboretum, we headed to the Texas Discovery Gardens at Fair Park. Much better plan. For those of you who haven’t been down there, you should check it out. The tropical butterflies are absolutely gorgeous!

Since I haven’t finished editing the pictures, I don’t think it’s fair to post a “Meet Jennifer + Chris” photo, but I LOVE this picture. They were so sweet to each other… and this is a nice embodiment of their love, for now.
